How often do you jump in your car and just drive with no thought of where you are heading or your final destination? Probably never. Even if you are ‘just out for a drive’ you will have a general direction or destination in mind.
But is the same true of your business for 2019? Have you decided what you want to achieve and how you intend to go about achieving it? Many businesses will go into 2019 in much the same way as they have come through 2018. But how different could it be if you have specific targets and objectives together with plans to achieve them?
You may have heard this statement:
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got”
And that probably means diminishing returns on your business because your competition is unlikely to stand still.
If you did have a plan and objectives for 2018, how has it gone? Are you on target? Were you over ambitious or have you nailed it?
This workshop is about preparing for 2019. Why now? Because January is too late and you need time to prepare to ensure you hit the start of the year running. It’s a multi-stage process:
- Where are you now – personally and in business?
- What has worked/is working well in 2018?
- What do you want personally out of 2019?
- How does your business need to perform to enable you to do that?
- What do you need to do to enable your business to perform at that level?
If you answer these five questions you’ll truly understand your start and end points, have a good understanding of your route and what you’ll need on the journey.
Join us at the Hub on Monday 12th November to start answering these questions.
NOTE: This event was postponed from 5th November
